Ingredients
  

  • PRIMARY INGREDIENTS
  • 500 g Green Dal whole mung Dal
  • 100 g Yellow Dal ChanaDal
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tbsp Ginger& garlic paste
  • 300 g Onion
  • 1 tsp Jeera; turmeric; Garlic Flakes each
  • ½ tsp Red Chili; crushed chili each
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder; Garam Masala; each
  • ½ tsp Bay leaf; cinnamom; black pepper & cloves each
  • 1 tbsp Desi Ghee
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Hing

Instructions
 

  • Wash and put Green Yellow dal in the cooker (add 4 times water, Turmeric & salt). For tempering – In a pan, add oil, jeera seeds, Garlic & ginger, onions and salt. Cook the onions till they are brown. Now add all the spices and cook for 1 minute and then add hing and desi ghee.
  • Now mix the tadka with the dal in the slow cooker.
  • (Add boiling water for desired consistency) then simmer for 30 minutes finish with green coriander.
