Black Yellow Dal

- 1 spatula spoon

Ingredients
- RIMARY INGREDIENTS
- 500 g Black Urid Dal
- 100 g Yellow ChanaDal
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tbsp Desi Ghee
- 1 tbsp Ginger & garlic paste
- 300 g Onion
- 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
- 1 tbsp Garam Masala
- ½ tsp Jeera; turmeric; Garlic Flakes each
- ½ tsp Red Chili; crushed chili each
- ⅓ tsp Bay leaf ;cinnamon; black pepper & cloves each
- 1 tsp Salt
Instructions
- Wash and put Black Yellow dal in the slow cooker overnight (add 4 times water & salt).
- In a pan, add oil, jeera seeds, Garlic & ginger, onions and salt. Cook the onions till they are brown.
- Now add all the spices and cook for 1 minute and then add hing and desi ghee.
- Now mix the tadka with the dal in the slow cooker.
- (Add boiling water for desired consistency) then simmer for 10 minutes finish with green coriander
